Beautiful aromas of white peaches, crushed rocks, candle wax, and lemon rind along with a touch of quince emerge from this medium-bodied, crisp, flavorful effort. Excellent acidity as well as a long finish suggest it will drink well for 10-15+ years. Wine Advocate. April, 2008
The wine has an elegant, balanced taste with soft silky tannins . The wine has a very open and expressive bouquet with aromas of red fruit, spice and soft oak. Wine combines pefectly with beef, grills and cheese.
This great value for money Bordeaux is a supple example of a Haut-Medoc with body, fullness and balance that suggests excellent ageing potential. It's spicy, woody and slightly smoky, with subtle tannins and a round, elegant structure.
Lovely, deep purple colour with purple highlights. Fine nose offering morello cherry and blackberry notes A smooth attack revealing ripe tannins and on the finish a full-bodied structure. Spicy blueberry and nutmeg notes too.
Pomerol is a much-respected red wine appellation in the Bordeaux region of south-western France. Both historically and physically, it stands apart from other Bordeaux appellations. It does not conform to the accepted image of a Bordeaux wine district as being a wealthy, long-established, chateau-laden area, with an all-important (if slightly outdated) classification system. Pomerol is none of these things, yet has managed to earn itself a place among the world's most revered wine region.
